Design Delivery Unit, a Scott Brownrigg Group Company, has been shortlisted for the AJ100 Executive Architect of the Year Award.

The Unit, a premium architectural delivery company established in 2013 works for prestigious developers on complex projects and in partnership with esteemed or young concept architects who may lack post-planning capabilities or resources to deliver the projects. Design Delivery Unit has successfully delivered 375 Kensington High Street for St Edwards Homes and is currently delivering the 40-storey Atlas Building on City Road, Prince of Wales Drive, adjacent to Battersea Power Station and West End Gate in Paddington.

The Executive Architect of the Year Award is awarded to the practice which has delivered a significant building or buildings over the past year to the highest possible standards. The practice will have demonstrated how it retained the concept and principles set out by the lead architect, delivered the project on time and on budget, collaborated with the contractors and other key players in the construction process and, where possible, improved the design.

A presentation by Project Director Neal Collins and Associate Annabel Chapman-Smith was given to the judges 10 May 2018, that focused on the process of Design Delivery Unit, the knowledge sharing amongst the teams and schemes 145 City Road – the Atlas Building and Bath Riverside.

The winner will be announced at the AJ100 awards dinner.
