Scott Brownrigg has been shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year at this year’s Building Awards. These important awards recognise excellence and outstanding performance within the UK construction industry.

This fantastic achievement reflects the significant business developments and positive changes that Scott Brownrigg has undergone over the past year. These include two key moves: in New York, the practice opened an office to support expansion into North America; in the UK, it acquired GMW Architects and GMW Architects International. These now operate under the Scott Brownrigg brand, strengthening the practice’s expertise in transport, aviation and City of London schemes.

The aviation sector has been a particular area of expansion, with the practice Lead Designer on what will be the largest single terminal in the world at Istanbul Grand Airport. Scott Brownrigg has also launched a new sector specialism of Advanced Technologies which is leading the way in the global demand for technology intensive buildings for lifesciences, manufacturing, data, research and energy.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony being held on 8 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
