Our Virtual Visits series offer a virtual tour of our designs every week. From freshly finished buildings to those not yet complete, the visits are narrated by the architects involved and offer a unique insight into the brief, concept and design features.

Returning for the third installment, we’re taking a look around Plot 1 – 21 Cambridge Science Park. Associate Ross Mcwatt and Architectural Technician Stephen Hope talk us through the two buildings designed on Plot 1, and the colonnade that links them. We’re also joined by a special guest from Structural Engineers, Rambolls. Associate Oliver Neve discusses the challenges that have presented themselves throughout the project.

Cambridge Science Park is one of the country’s first dedicated technology estates, attracting high tech and R & D companies. The design of our two buildings creates flexible options for both single or multi-tenant occupancy. A feature colonnade sweeps across the front of both, echoing the curve of the spine road, whilst new public realm between the two buildings has been created.
