Scott Brownrigg is delighted to announce St James's Place Wealth Management Headquarters in Cirencester designed for Citygrove Securities has won the South of England and South Wales region BCO Award for Corporate Workplace.

The British Council for Offices' (BCO) awards are widely respected within the commercial property sector and in this particular category the award recognises the elegant design; use of high quality traditional materials, integrating contemporary design into Cirencesters conservation area, outstanding design efficiency (90% net to gross) and a perfect understanding of the end users goals and aspirations for the building. The judges commended the scheme as a benchmark for excellence in workplaces.

Scott Brownrigg Architects carefully designed St. James’s Place’s new office as a high quality building, which is complementary to the existing local architecture.  The 50,000 sq ft  building was completed in October 2016 and provides an appropriately elegant new addition to Cirencester, whilst reinforcing the commitment of St James’s Place to a long term future in the town. The design intent for the new development was to create an elegant contemporary office building to sit in harmony with the existing St. James’s Place building.

Director Ed Hayden and Associate Elizabeth Thompson collected the award on the 4th May at the prize giving in Bristol.
